Hi, I'm Michele!

I've been a physical therapist for over 30 years, and I've spent all of those years working with seniors at various stages of fitness. I've become very familiar with the struggles and challenges that you face, and I've been motivated by your commitment to staying active and independent.

My mission is to help seniors on their wellness journey when you hit the road bumps that make you question whether you should stop or slow down. I'm here to provide support so you can keep going, whether it's a modifying how you move, or finding a completely different way of doing something.

📅 What’s Included in This 4-Week Course


  • One-on-one Initial Assessment
    Before your first class, you’ll meet with Michele privately to discuss your posture, movement habits, and goals. This helps her tailor the experience to your individual needs and challenges.


  • Twice-weekly In-Person Classes
    Gentle, posture-focused yoga sessions in a small group setting—supportive, calm, and never rushed.


  • Progressive Instruction
    Each session builds on the last to gradually increase body awareness, alignment, and control—at your own pace.


  • Safe, Mindful Movement
    Learn how to move with greater intention through guided breathwork, gentle stretches, and alignment-based poses.


  • Modifications for All Levels
    Whether you’re working with joint pain, limited mobility, or just feeling unsure, Michele offers options that meet you where you are.


  • Calm, Comfortable Setting
    No judgement, no pressure—just a warm and welcoming space where you can feel at ease.


  • One-on-one Final Assessment
    At the end of the course, you’ll meet privately again with Michele to reflect on your progress and receive personalized recommendations for next steps—whether that’s continuing yoga, addressing specific areas of concern, or adding strength and balance work to your routine.

Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all! This course is beginner-friendly and designed for people who want a gentle, supportive, and personalized experience.

What should I bring?

Just wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Mats and props are provided, or feel free to bring your own.

Is this class good for balance problems?

Yes. You’ll work on postural alignment and core strength, both of which support better balance. Michele’s background as a physical therapist ensures everything is safe and appropriate.

I have arthritis. Can I still participate?

Yes! Gentle movement is one of the best things you can do for joint health. Michele provides modifications to reduce pain and make each pose accessible, even on stiff or achy days.

What if I have osteoporosis?

This course is especially designed with bone health and safety in mind. You'll avoid risky movements while focusing on alignment, weight-bearing, and posture—all of which are helpful in managing osteoporosis safely. Michele’s physical therapy expertise ensures your movements support and protect your bones.

What happens during the assessments?

Before the course begins, Michele will meet with you individually to understand your posture, mobility, and goals. After the course ends, you’ll meet again to review your progress and receive customized recommendations for what to do next—whether that’s continuing yoga, focusing on strength or balance work, or another program.
